SSDG
(Small Scale Distributed Generation)
To make the SSDG project feasible, a Grid Code has been drawn up to enable the integration of photovoltaic technologies into the CEB grid.
The Grid Code describes the technical criteria and requirements for the interconnection of Small Scale Distributed Generators (SSDG) with CEB’s low-voltage (230/400 V) grid systems. The Grid Code covers electricity generation from renewable Photovoltaic (PV) technologies.
The Grid Code deals with the connection of electricity producers under the CEB SSDG Net-Metering Scheme for the following two customer categories:
- Category 1: Domestic customers with single-phase supply.
- Category 2: Domestic customers with three-phase supply.
